Minister’s view on sustainability - 2012 As we review progress a year on from publication of the Government’s vision for sustainable development, Caroline Spelman reaffirms its relevance and importance: "The Coalition Government remains committed to sustainable development. Only by stimulating sustainable economic growth, protecting and enhancing our environment, and supporting social progress can we deliver our programme for government for current and future generations."
