Charles Clover, well known for his book The End of the Line, has written a blog about the ongoing situation between the Isle of Man and Scottish scallop fishing interests. It details are variety of initiatives that the Isle of Man Government are taking to try and develop a sustainable scallop fishery in the face of the ‘nomadic’ Scottish scallop dredging fleet – who have often been compared to modern day Vikings.
