Communications and Management for Sustainability (CMS) is an organisation which promotes the delivery of sustainability and environment management in the marine, coastal and water sectors using a number of communication media.

Our core business is to organise and facilitate conferences and smaller meetings for clients but increasingly this is being extended by the emailing service we offer which promotes their conferences, job vacancies and news. CMS News is a weekly emailing that highlights important news developments, jobs and events to over 7300 contacts.

CMS has been trading for 18 years and in the last decade has run between 15- 20 events a year for many organisations but in particular CIWEM the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

Our support team have helped organise and facilitate many successful conferences with their diverse range of skills and team work: they include:

Luke Adshead

Luke provides our technical and IT support and is our website manager. He is also involved in creating advertising campaigns and advanced data segmentation, managing client email work and advertising conferences. He is Involved in the design and development of the new website and in creating web-pages; he has a wide range of video skills including linking videos to websites.

Christina Beech

Christina is the conference administrator, dealing with all aspects of delegate bookings. She also attends all events, to ensure their smooth running.

Diana Hunt

Diana plays a key part in pre-conference budget plan preparation and monitoring of financial aspects of the events through to post-conference financial reporting. She manages all our office financial systems including book keeping, financial planning and VAT.

Jayne O'nions

Jayne is our main liaison with sponsors, the media and speakers leading up to and after the events. Jayne runs the emailing service with Luke working with clients to design their email adverts. Jayne is frequently involved in creating advertising campaigns, promoting the events and their management on the CMS website. She helps maintain the email distribution lists and works on delegate feedback after the events.

Bob Earll

Bob has set up and managed CMS since 1993 and there is a full CV listing of his skill sets in the Services section of the website

Louise Earll

Louise used to be the Head of the largest Health Psychology Department in the country. We use her skills with questionnaire design and perception, and supporting us at the conferences.
