Events – conferences, workshops – interactive events

CMS is run by Dr Bob Earll who has a very wide range of experience of work in the aquatic environmental sector including marine and coastal and freshwater environments. CMS promotes the delivery of sustainability across these sectors.

Events CMS organises about a 15+ events each year – see below for issues you might like to consider. CMS works closely with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and also organises the CMS Coastal Futures conferences and events for other clients

CMS also runs the CMS Advertising which enables clients to contact over 7500+ practitioners directly in the aquatic environmental sector.

In working with 200+ speakers and 40+ conference sponsors a year CMS has excellent contacts with many of the leading players in this water and marine and coastal sectors

Contact lists CMS also holds sectoral postal address lists for 14 major sectors including water, environment and nature conservation, ports, fisheries, energy, local authorities. This data base includes some 15,000 contacts.

Communication Put another way CMS can help you communicate effectively to a very wide audience.

Organising events includes a wide range of different aspects. CMS can do all or some of these things. Clients usually have a clear idea of particular roles they want CMS to undertake

CMS can:

Help you make a start: develop a clear vision of what is required to design the event – aims and objectives
Develop budget plans - costing your ideas and timetables of what is required
Help to secure funding through sponsorship
Provide advice and guidance on both the content and administration of events 1:1 with project managers and working groups
Provide up to date address lists for all the sectors in the water, coastal and marine environment
Administer delegate booking before, during and after the event using online booking and dedicated conference webpages
Produce conference packs, badges, delegate lists, delegate notes etc; organise catering and a wide range of other supporting facilities AV, accommodation
Behind the scenes co-ordination of in-house arrangements at the event
Provide facilitation at the event, brainstorming, group sessions, training, chairing sessions etc
Compile event topic reports, post-conference briefings, CDs, web content
Provide a wide variety of reports, evaluations and audits of delegates, finances etc.
