An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a developing project, based in the Countryside & Coast Team that is being funded by DEFRA grant funding. We are seeking an experienced outreach, consultation and engagement project officer to work closely with communities along the Somerset Coast. You will have experience delivering environmental management projects through liaison with key partner organisations. You will have experience in co-ordinating input and action of others during the lead up to and delivery of events. You will have an environmental management/coastal management or related discipline degree, excellent communication and organisational skills, and should have sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
