About the role

You will undertake collation, analysis and synthesis of evidence applied to marine planning in general and local areas in particular. You will help to understand and interpret information and data in relation to planning policies and stakeholder views. You will support developmental work focussed on evidence and analysis, monitoring and reporting on plans, research, and take the technical lead on at least one topic or sector. The role will involve significant travel within England.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is educated to degree level in a relevant subject and keen to develop their knowledge and skills as part of a team that contributes significantly to the development and implementation of marine planning in England. You will have strong skills in analysis, be a clear communicator and should have experience of working with evidence applied to marine or coastal issues.
