Newcastle University's MSc course in Aquaculture Enterprise and Technology now offers a GBP 3000 student scholarship for 2012-13, kindly provided by the The Fishmonger's Company.

Join us to enjoy high level training in aquaculture from academics, marine scientists, technologists and aquaculture managers. You'll learn about everything from aquaculture production and marketing through to farm system design and environmental compliance.

The course offers advanced entrepreneurial skills training to make you a desirable and valuable future employee or to allow you to establish your own successful aquaculture business.

As part of the course you will complete an industry field course in West Scotland visiting Halibut, Salmon, Oyster, Trout, Tilapia and Mussel farms. You’ll visit leading industry experts and you will also have the opportunity to implement your own novel aquaculture business ideas.
