Two Vacancies - Marine Biologists
CMACS Ltd is a leading marine and coastal environmental consultancy. We currently have positions for two marine biologists to join our team based on the Wirral, Merseyside. The positions will include offshore marine environmental survey work, involving periods at sea on survey vessels.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing company with a strong reputation, particularly in relation to offshore renewable energy developments.
Candidates should have experience of one or more of the following:
- Acoustic effects on marine life
- Marine benthic survey and interpretation
- Marine fish survey and interpretation
- Marine Pollution Ecology
Additional experience of EIA, GIS and/or ornithological survey would be an advantage.
A first degree in an appropriate environmental discipline is essential. A higher degree and proven experience is desirable.
It will be necessary to undergo appropriate HSE training and pass a medical. A willingness to work away from home for extended periods of time, including offshore, will be essential. The posts are full time but will be subject to a performance review after an agreed period.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and ability.
