CEMEX UK Marine Ltd, a leading supplier of marine dredged sand and gravels into the UK and near Continent and part of CEMEX the global building materials supplier, has a position available for a Licence Co-ordinator.

Based in Southampton and reporting to the Licence Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating information relating to marine aggregate resources and the review of extraction and electronic monitoring data. You will be required to assist in ensuring that Environmental Impact Assessments are efficiently and cost effectively project managed and that dredging operations are conducted in compliance with the terms of Marine Licences.

A good understanding of marine environmental issues is required and applicants should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a marine science or management discipline. Good organisational, IT and data management skills and an eye for detail are required together with the capability to use GIS or a willingness to undertake training in GIS.

The role will require some travel within the UK and occasional work at sea.
