Marine Vacancies
Natural England works for people, places and nature, to enhance biodiversity, landscapes and wildlife in rural, urban, coastal and marine areas; promoting access, recreation and public well-being and contributing to the way natural resources are managed so that they can be enjoyed now and in the future.
Natural England is responsible for advising Government and industry on marine conservation issues in England’s territorial waters. This is a significant time with important initiatives underway to improve the future health and quality of our seas, including extending the Marine Protected Areas network, developing our evidence base and providing advice on fishing and other marine operations at a national and local level. Our Marine Function works closely with partners and stakeholders to deliver our marine programme.
We currently have a number of Lead Adviser and Adviser vacancies within the national and regional teams of our Marine Function. If you have an underlying passion for the marine environment and can work closely with a range of partners and stakeholders for a sustainable future, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for applicants with a range of skills, knowledge and experience covering marine science, marine industry and operations.
We are particularly keen to hear from those with a background in the fishing industry.
