Marketing communications coordinator
HR Wallingford is a world-leading research and consultancy organisation. From flooding to shipping, offshore energy to climate change, we advise clients worldwide how to manage the water environment. We are looking for someone to join our information and communications team to help share our success stories and ensure we are engaging effectively within our target markets.
In this challenging role you will support our marketing activities by writing and editing content for everything from press releases and brochures to newsletters and websites. We will also look to you to develop and lead our PR activities and identify opportunities for us to raise our media profile.
We are looking for someone who is organised and proactive with excellent communication skills, as you will need to be able to translate often complex technical material in to clear and engaging content. You will have a degree or equivalent, ideally in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline. Marketing communications experience would be a real advantage, particularly if gained in an engineering or scientific environment.
