Policy Co-ordinator
Scottish Whitefish Producers Association (SWFPA) is a trade protection body representing the interests of 170 Scottish vessels. We are seeking an energetic, dedicated individual to work as part of a small but focused team based in Fraserburgh.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will be a resourceful self-starter, able to operate effectively alone or as part of industry or multi-disciplinary teams. Able to communicate clearly at all levels, a working understanding of fisheries science is essential as is experience of advising and assisting in policy formulation and of working towards consensus in difficult situations.
The position requires frequent travel within the UK and overseas. A driving licence and the willingness to work some antisocial hours are required. A relocation package may be available for the appropriate candidate.
